My Mum, Sister and I have decided to book our first trip to Disneyland Paris Together and we could not be any more excited.
We booked this Disney trip with www.magicbreaks.co.uk if you have not hurd of magic breaks before they are a travel company that offers amazing deals to Disneyland Paris, they offer a full package which includes travel to the parks (plane, Eurostar, Euro tunnel and alternative channel crossing) Accommodation and park tickets. If you do not need a full package you can also just book the hotel and Disney park tickets or even just Disney park tickets. The website was really easy to navigate which makes it super quick to be able to check out what you are looking for.
After looking through the magic breaks website and seeing the amazing deals that they had to offer we decided to book with them straight away. We went for a full package deal that included a three day trip with Travel with the Eurostar direct to Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallee) A 2 night stay at Disneyland Santa fee hotel (Disney Pixar cars themed room) And a three day Disney park hopping ticket all for the price of £331 each! that includes the 30% discount magic breaks had to offer. Prices will change from week to week especially if there is special event going on at Disneyland so always have a look through before you have a date in mind.
I called the number provided and I was put through to the most helpful customer service agent called David King. I explained that we wanted to go on our three day trip and I told him the dates that we wanted to book. Unfortunately the dates that we wanted to go on the Eurostar the wheelchair spaces had been filled already and he also checked for the weekend after which again was the same situation. David then went on to tell us that the Eurostar only have two available wheelchair spots on the whole train in general, which in my eyes I find extremely disappointing! you really think there would be more on the train, but it is what it is! By this point I really thought oh well that’s it this trip is not happening, but then we suggested if she could be aided to a seat would they be able to fold her chair and store that somewhere else and he said that was completely fine!! so if you can be aided to a chair this is a way to go if all the wheelchair spaces have been filled. We was extremely happy that there was still a way to go on our trip,David then assured us that we will have assisents on both ends at St pancreas international and when we get to Marne-la-Vallee. I asked David about travelling with medication as my sister is on a controlled drug and he said if we could bring a repeat perception and just have her medication labled and their boxes and also a doctors letter it would be okay.
David was extremely helpful and gave us so many usefull tips for booking a Disney trip with a perosn who has disabilities he advice us to send in some medical evidence for example a Blue badge or a PIP letter and he would send it on to Disney and discount would be applied for her carer! he estimated about a 6 to 12 weeks wait for Disney to reply back with the discount, David then went on to tell us about the green pass that Disney have to offer for guest who have a perment disability or a temporary etc and he explained it would be very useful for my sister so she can avoid busy crowds/lines etc, He was also kind enough to get our hotel room located next to the facility’s which he said would be more helpful for my sister. After spending a further 10 mins on the phone giving him our details with in an hour of our phone call David then sent us all the conformation emails of everything being booked! WE ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND YAY!!!
This was our first time booking a trip with disability’s and I feel that magic breaks answered every question we had and was extremely helpful with the booking. I would highly recommend magic breaks for booking your Disneyland Paris trips!
